Our move to Essex has been a fun transition.  We miss Mark and Mindy, but are looking forward to seeing them on the River with their new vessel, R/V Keeper.

Captain Dan and Cathy have been working hard to get the schedule set.  The captains and crew have been enjoying their time on the water and the beautiful Essex Harbor location.

NATURE is our business…

….and business is good!

It’s August!!  Where is the summer going??  The young Osprey are now getting ready to fly or have flew off the nest.  We saw at least 12 ospreys in one small area of trees, they were mostly juvenile birds with just a couple adults.  The young first year eagles are doing well and have been seen watching the Osprey fishing and doing a little themselves. Huge schools of fish have been in the area attracting all kinds of wildlife, herons, egrets and larger fish.  We hope to see you soon on RiverQuest!

Covid NOTE: We follow the latest guidelines from the CDC, USCG and State of CT. RiverQuest crew members have all been vaccinated. Passenger safety is our number one concern.

Cruising the Connecticut River
